A unique facet of the Vassar application is a blank page where you can write/do anything you want. Come up with somethibng witty and original to do with that space and it will help you.

dont do vassar ED. you are virtually an autoadmit there. Aim higher and wider, and if vassar still ends up your best bet you'll at least have other fin aid offers/scholarships to use in negotiations.

I go to Vassar. I would suggest not majoring in either of those things or going somewhere else. Can't help you with admissions.

And Vassar is not a TTT. Feel free to ask me any questions.

OK. Vassar ED IS a shoot in the foot, however it is a very beautiful, stimulating campus. Yale is always a stretch. The Ivy League school you want to shoot for is UPenn. Its bigger than most people think, its like Cornell but higher ranked. Cornell. Id apply to one of the top three, Princeton or Yale preferred. One major city school -- Northwestern, UChicago, or Columbia. 2 more top 25 at most.

IN LAC's -- Amherst, Williams, Swarthmore, Vassar, and Middlebury.

Thats 11 schools. Thats around the number you

There's nothing special about this dood that will get him into Yale. Your other recommendations are solid.

Yeah, He needs more AP's for Yale. Whatever the academic rigor of your school, you should be around that. Also, the class rank could be better.

If you're good at Theater, Northwestern is preeminent with actors from Friends, Will & Grace, and Pulitzer prize winning journalists. NYU Tisch is outstanding with many great actors, and the NY location. USC (i.e. Will Ferrel) also creates many actors.
