Ann Arbor, MI -- Michigan's decent from the national ranks continued today when it was embarrassed and disgraced this weekend in the Big House for the 10th time in 2 years by a surprising appearance by the un-ranked Obama State(less) Changers. The Changers, from either Hawaii, Kenya or Indonesia -- take your pick -- marched into the Big House and dominated the hapless Wolverines on both sides of the ball and ultimately swayed a swooning crowd that was obviously punch drunk from an excess of economic and athletic defeats.
Obama State(less) has been the victim of a number of losses and miscues recently, including a surprising upset by the Fort Hood Psychos and a shocking defeat by Obama State's sister school, the Nigerian Mile-Hires (who won despite the ineffectiveness of its standout play-maker Farouk Abdul Mutallab, who suffered a groin injury). Despite last month's surprising victory over the D.C. Pachyderms in the Blue Cross/Blue Shield Tea Party Bowl, Obama State(less) is still falling in the national polls and is unlikely to retain its National Championship status in 2012.
Coach Rich Rodriguez, who is in his last year as head coach of the once-powerful Wolverines, remarked on Obama State's play by saying: "Well, we studied film form Obama State's successful 2008-2009 campaign, and all indications were that they are an offense focused on driving up the middle and through the center. But lately, all they do is run left. They were very unpredictable and played quite unlike their game film and declared strategy." Coach Rahm Emmanuel of the Changers said this after the game: "Hey Football is like politics. Victory is dependent on your willingness to play in a a bloody and smash mouth manner -- and hey, if you believe all that pre-game crap about being a "run up the middle'" offense, you're a bigger sucker than we we originally thought." Emmanuel added: "Just like Detroit's auto industry, Michigan got owned today by Obama."
Despite the Michigan drubbing, Obama State has struggled on the road and prospects do not look good this year as their away schedule includes conference rivals the Tehran Breeder Reactors, the Pyongyang Chain-Smoking Neurotics, the Al Qaida Children Martyrs Brigade and the Ohio State Buckeyes (known in NCAA circles as the "Axis of Evil').
Coach Rodriguez mused that "Obama State never ever seems to play as hard against Tehran, Pyongyang and Al Qaida as it does against teams like the Pachyderms, The Hartford Claim-Deniers and the Goldman University Front-Runners. If they could reverse that, Obama might have a chance in 2012."
Next week, Michigan faces . . . uh,who cares . . . and Obama State(less) faces the Arizona Sheriffs in The Minuteman Bowl in Yuma.
