Will I get into SEO? (internship question...)

Econ & Math double major at Ivy Sophomore Gpa: 3.8 Lots of very relevant courses, several Honors Math courses Decent computer background: Java, VB, proficient in Excel etc.
-Pretty decent summer experience at a Top 5 Business school. -Editor for a publication -Executive positions in 2 clubs (founder of one, both quant-related) -RA for a somewhat famous Finance prof.
Other stuff:
Tutor kids in Math & Econ, work at a campus computing help center, on the staff of college daily
If I don't get SEO, what are chances for regular recruitment for summer internships at banks etc.

Also, I work quite a few hours a week for campus dining. Not sure if I should include that. Helps pay the tuition. |

Anything that removes time from schoolwork, essentially, to show that you can balance work + school. It doesn't matter if the work is 'prestigious' or not. Honestly, I think the program is really competitive for sophomores. But yeah, you shouldn't have too much trouble finding a good summer job this year. Maybe your finance prof has some ideas. |

Date: October 25th, 2005 9:45 AM Author: Disgusting wrinkle I suggest you try on campus recruiting. I think you'll surprised that some of the banks actually interview sophomores for summer internships. It's rare, but these jobs are less selective than SEO anyway.
I mean, I'm no expert on SEO, but I do know someone who did it as a sophomore. He was pretty amazing. The relevant coursework can't hurt. |

but actually, my friend asked this internship coordinator human resources person at goldman sachs how many seo people they have for their internships, and the number was really really small. so if you dont get seo, it's not like it makes that big of a deal anyway. |
