I think that Stanford takes the cake in this one due to all of the Silicon Valley tycoons coming from there.

I don't have numbers to prove this though.

I'd say that places like MIT and some of the IVYs probably have produced quite a few billionaires themselves.

true self made billionaires? there arent many of those....but i think your stanford guess is correct - the tech world is really the only place one can become a selfmade billionaire (aside from buffet etc i suppose....actually i have no idea). harvard has gates and zuckerberg (altho thats an estimated net worth, and they're both drop outs)
