Date: February 10th, 2018 10:38 PM Author: Plum at-the-ready forum antidepressant drug I make over 100k in a low CoL area working for a mid market manufacturing company you've never heard of (we are the worlda largest manufacturer of a very common thing (not anything interesting)).it's good money for my age and my title is well beyond what I would have if I went to Amazon, Google, etc. Everything factored in I would probably make a 15% salary increase but a huge decrease in title and responsibility.
With that said I keep looking at positions at tier 1 and tier 2 company's (tier 2 being Oracle, IBM, micrsoft offices in smaller cities, etc). I'm nearly positive my all around CoL would go down and very likely I would be working on less interesting projects, however something about name recognition is getting to me. |
