the jeet IT infestation at enterprises is a fucking disaster

The entire IT segment of our company is a jeet pit, as it is at most places. I'm sure a brilliant turd was brought on at some point, thinking a Sundar Pichai type, and now we are paying the toll--a fullblown turd infestation featuring a nepotistic caste system and kickback reward shuffling integrated into our hiring and vendor selections. This guy's visio diagram looked like a 5yo made it, and he kept getting confused about the tech he is supposedly an "architect" over and pushing us to adopt.
Very cockroach like behavior when they get into a company. Juice from the "good" ones is not worth the squeeze, IMO. I foresee GREAT troubles in the long term with tech at our largest enterprises being fully jeeted. Discuss |

Both American names. I looked them up on rinkedin and they were both white dudes. I was like great, this should be a good convo.
When I called in, the whites bros were no where to be seen. Some indian took the interview, asked me hard af tech questions and rejected me.
Birdshits are not keen on getting their hands dirty. They are happy to delegate the day to day operations to indians. They just want to be chief and diddle HR.
About 25 years of this and whites have pretty much replaced themselves in the tech orgs (business orgs are still mostly American).

Date: August 31st, 2025 11:45 AM Author: up-to-no-good state that's fucked. Some of these places like JPM are literally printing $ out of thin air, so the jeet rot is largely irrelevant. I think JPM's culture is generally hardcore enough too that it keeps their jeets in line on deliverables.
I know enough tech now that I can "stump" anyone if I want with highly specific questions at the edge of their domain to which I don't even really know the answers, but will still know if they do. I can imagine the jeets doing that, but it taking a further caste/dominance quid pro quo dynamic with each other where this fellow turd they interview isn't cut out for the role, but since he is a fellow telegu they will give him a break, but expect part of his compensation to be returned as "gifts" or something. Multiply this out with every jeet in IT management and suddenly a huge portion of them are brazenly not qualified and were placed as a favor?
I'm not sure I even care to fully understand the dynamics--I just know it's fucked and they need to go. |
