It will no longer get driver support, because AMD has better things to do with its developers than support RDNA 2 architecture nyuug was planning to use for the next 5-7 years. He was so invested in this graphics card that he customized his entire cooling layout to accommodate it. There it is, launched just three years ago to poor Korean taxi drivers looking get wet with the online:

What's ironic is that Linux support for this architechture is also pure SHIT compared to the Vega architecture it replaced. If you actually want to run virtual arcade simulators you want Linux and a AMD Vega graphics card, not this RDNAshit. I own a RX 9070 on that's RDNA 4 and driver support is horrendous in Linux AND Windows. Fuck AMD. They make the only products that lose value over time now |
