I saw it in Toronto as a kid. It was pretty 180. Actually that vacation was pretty 180. Stayed at the four seasons, went to the eaton centre, went to some science museum(s). Toronto was like some sort of utopia that was clean and crime free. My father even took us on a public transportation bus to show us how nice things were there.

haha that's exactly right. Growing up in suburban Detroit, we learned to love Toronto for being such a glowing, clean metropolitan area. Always love going there.

Are you thinking of the Royal Ontario Museum?

We spent most of our trips at Pantages, CN Tower, Maple Leaf Gardens (back then), and the HHoF

I had this exact same trip as a kid; my family was broke that year so we went to toronto and spent a lot of time on that weird above ground rail system they had and this huge multi-story arcade. I thought it was the most 180 place ever. The funny part is, now as an adult I actually think Toronto is the gayest place in the universe.

i like how they make phantom's disfigurement basically a semi-attractive scar rather than a repulsive deformity.
