I can use Amex to get star alliance flights too.
PH Maldives looks nice, but I worry abt the lack of things to do there.
I wish Aman Resorts were cheaper...

The biz v. F distinction really can't be generalized. It depends on the carrier and the distance. If you're talking about SQ J vs. F on the 77W, then yes, I will give you there isn't much of a difference between F and J, however, even with Silverkris miles (can move AMEX points), the difference is so insignificant, you might as well fly F.
If you are going from U.S. to Asia, it's 120k in business vs. 140k in First, in my opinion, why not burn the extra 20k to fly in F, with the UA mileage accelerator offers, you can usually buy those 20k miles back for ~$250, essentially paying $250 to upgrade to First class. When it's something like Lufthansa where the difference between F and J could be upstairs on a 744 with a seat and a dedicated bed vs. a non-flat seat in business, it's definitely worth it.

Well, you originally said you had 200K amex, now you have 269K. I dunno how that math turned about but I'll take it for whatever.
U need to look at your max partners here:
200k united
269k Amex
175k chase ultimate rewards
160k marriott
First look where United can take you since you have 200K. For XMAS I'd be looking at Oceania, like Aus or HK, or perhaps BA, Argentina but that' might be a bit hot, but United has a good route there. Remember, you have TWO WEEKS. Don't waste them in AR COUNTRY.
In any event, see what you can on airfare get for 200K. If you are short, look to Chase as that can be transferred to United. Probably Amex too but I don't recall. There are your first class tickets.
Now use those Marriot points for the hotel in the city of your choice. You should get good value for your Marriot elite status on upgrades and free rooms. You wont be staying at the Penninsula HK, but not everybody can and you wont be living the poor's life.
Remainder of points on Chase and Amex that you didn't use for airfare and rooms as XMAS gifts.
Figure out dinners on your own.
Figure out to do with all those 30K and under point buckets, if you can consolidate great.
Your welcome.
