- create a Facebook page, give away a "Fuck Boomers" bumper sticker or something to anyone who clicks "Like". run Facebook ads targeting college kids.

"Rent" is something torn in two, as youth have been torn from opportunity; additionally, "rent" is symbolic of a non-ownership society for youth, who lack the resources to purchase.
Another couple of concepts: ambulate, or wander, or moil--some concept of wandering about restlessly with no particular destination (both for youth, and for the multifarious subjects of the blog); "moil" includes some definitions like "wallow in the mire," "work hard," and "harass." |

first things first, we need a name. i really think it's gotta take an irreverent tone. that's the only way we get young people to read it, and it provides a great marketing angle. look at the Law School Transparency guys - too "legit". they have a killer angle (law schools are scams, and we can prove it), but their coverage has been limited.
now, the name itself doesn't have to be offensive. just short. Dead on the Vine is good, but it might be a tad too long. maybe not though. if the name is tame like that, though, the tagline shouldn't be.
also, be careful of being too clever with the name. we want mass appeal. i think the Lost Soles - In Search of Bootstraps above is 180, but too few people will understand it. at least, that's my opinion.
the tone and theme is rage. we're fucking pissed. boomers fucked it up, here's how they've fucked it up, and here are ideas to fix things while fucking them back.
it's gotta have a strong theme like this. and, if our theme was high quality, smart content with a message but attempting to be convincing (like, say, an Atlantic article), it won't go anywhere.
ok so, theme and tagline. there are a lot of ideas above. let's try to settle on one today. also, there needs to be a .org domain available for whatever name you pick. i think we should roll with .org, because it makes us sound like a cause, a non-profit. |

Something like: -Entitlement spending and why it is screwing us -Current state of tuition prices and non-dischargeable loans -unemployment and underemployment -Union practices that shit on new people entering the field -Misdirection when it comes to education
