And while you are at it, can you suggest to them that while the amended complaint is a huge improvement with respect to writing style, it still needs work.
For example, they have completely messed up the verb tenses in this sentence:
"That person specifically addressed DOE I’s future classmates, telling them to “watch out for her” when she would begin at Yale Law School in the fall."
This is also the first time I have seen the word "trash" used as a verb in a complaint.

The only miscalculation was at how patient the judge would be with utterly hopeless litigation.
The reason there are no rule 11 sanctions is because nobody sought them. |

Date: November 10th, 2007 12:22 AM Author: motley parlor first, i'm not sure you understand how work is divvied up in law firms. these 4 lawyers have not been dedicated to the xoxo lawsuit. for each of them, it is most likely the least important of 4 ongoing projects. second, while there are some interesting legal questions surrounding the tort claims, the main issue in this case isn't legal, it's technical: how are the Ps going to identify these 30+ defendants? the few involved in the t14 hotties site might be easy to track down, but not the rest. having served as supreme court editor of the yale law journal isn't going to help the lawyers solve this problem. |
