on the other hand, in the us jumping from the second to fourth quintile leads to a huge improvement in QoL so there's a lot of motivation to do so. |

1) Socialism creates an incentive for you not to care about your job. General apathy is higher. It shows in their customer service, etc. But it's also there in how people treat strangers in general. There’s a general level of grift that permeates London/ Paris, etc.
2) The class system is there. For example, Germany is for Germans (and by that they mean white Germans, etc). Even white Americans will be outcastes here at the highest level. If you don't have lineage that goes back generations, you can only get so far. I'm referring to the highest levels of society. |

Your house might not be as big as in most of the US, but your QOL will be great. Bachelor party in Spain or Portugal is less than 2 hrs away - - and everyone takes time off so you're expected to do those things.
