I also mentioned Columbine because of the culture of bullying at public schools. I'm not opposed to bullying per se; a little bullying can encourage kids not to act like complete social fuck-ups. But public school bullying seems to enforce prole conformity and niggerish behavior, even in lily-white suburban districts (magnet schools are an exception).
If I didn't work all the time, homeschooling would be a viable option. I could hire tutors, but my wife would have to be on board with supervising. By high school, though, I think kids belong in boarding school. |
