The pay is nothing more than you make at such agencies as the Forest Dept. yet you have to go through a smear campaign of interrogations and polygraphs. Spill your guts on your sex life to some prole poly agent. If you get a parking ticket you'll lose you clearance and thus your job. And you can't even tell anyone what you do. You get to tell them you work for Social Security or some shit, so thus no PSSSTIGUE!
Moral at intel agencies is also some of the lowest in the fed. 90% of the time you'll be pushing papers at some desk in a basement in Maryland.
Gun for a nice $!50-200k per year one month vacation, flex from work gig with the dept of Treas. bro... |

A friend of my mom was in the agency for 6 years and met a guy on a trip to the EU. They fell in love and got engaged. The agency came to her and said she would have to leave him or leave the agency. She had 24 hours to decide. She left the agency and has been happily married for over 15 years.
Another thing. The intel agencies want to hire the most boring, mundane, average looking people. If you're good looking or are gregarious, they do not want you.
