Jews are overall smarter than Asians and are more represented at the tail ends of intelligence in "hard" subjects like math/science.
I couldn't find any data for average math SAT for jews so we can't conclude that they are on average better at math, but it seems likely. If one population produces more people than another population at the tail end of high ability, then it's likely that population has a higher mean. It's possible that it just has a higher standard deviation of ability, but it's more likely that it has a higher mean. |

Mr. garden variety Asian who knows how to build something tangible contributes much more than Mr. Goldstein who writes a scholarly article on an exception to an exception of some esoteric tax issue.... or Mrs. Finkelbaum who writes on "Lesbian sociology and law in a postmodern society". Asians don't flock as much to useless parasitic professions such as "lawyers". If you don't make something tangible your contribution is questionable. |
