If you rotate the controller while swinging, you slice or otherwise put a spin on the ball (during your forehand, rotating from buttons facing up to buttons facing down shoots a mean, fast shot; it's very nice for returning serves). I'm sure there's a Gamefaq on this.
Also, learn to use your guy up front earlier than you'd think. If you swing early with the right timing you'll get him to jump up and hit balls you'd think he wouldn't reach, and hit them at a sharp angle that's hard to return.
Also, learn the timing for the super-fast serve. It's just a moment before the ball starts to come back down. |
