Not sure why they can't see this. One of the biggest problems in the economy right now is a lack of demand. People just plain aren't buying shit, or are seriously delaying new purchases. If you put a few hundred more dollars in their pocket each month, and brighten their future a bit, they'll spend. If they spend, more demand. If more demand, more sales/revenues and elevated stock prices. Boomers would make more money. Pretty basic to understand, bros.

Yes, how are you going to effectively cap it? Forgiveness is one hurdle, capping costs is probably a bridge too far at this point.

do a one time forgiveness. Tell everyone you're not doing it again. Problem solved.

your sarcasm hints at borderline personality disorder (BPD). You should google it and look into getting some help. It can really drag down your relationships. I could go into more detail, but much too lengthy to type on xo.

Such a onetime forgiveness would make national news for about 3-4 days, plus make major headlines with all of the national news magazines. Such publicity would be helpful to the problem and discourage others from getting in a similar spot.

that's a pretty standard BPD response. Like this post, BPD is characterized and manifests in some aspects as:

1. Cognitive distortion — taking whatever reality actually is and twisting it to their purposes.

2. Relationship disruption and isolation — if you’re the target, assessing the damage done to your supporting relationships by the person w/BPD.

3. Plausible deniability — what the person that has BPD will likely say when they are confronted with their behavior.

4. Emotional reasoning and manipulation of mental models, leading to triangulation — what people w/BPD use to ‘latch in’ people’s support when they distort the circumstance in question.

You should do your own research on the web on this topic. You may be surprised by the results.

I figured you'd take that one of two ways, mostly the way I was anticipating. Denial is a big part of the problem when you have BPD. The fundamental steps of most transitions are denial by humor, denial when confronted (more direct), and finally acceptance. Google is your friend here, bro.
