I am starting a new job where they only give us a desktop so I need a home computer that can do all the MS Office stuff, surf the internet, is fast, etc. But mostly will just use it for work.

lenovo t430 or t430s will work well for those needs. comes with a good warranty and should last 3-4 years too.
