Is it CR to write "This issue here is . . . " for every issue?
Bar review class told us to do it. None of the essays on baressays.com do it, even the high scoring ones (although they're all essays from people who fail, so...).
whats the general consensus?

you could but i don't think you have to and it sounds dumb
just do heading/sub-heading, rule statement, and then application. your application should just be: "Here, ...."

feel like I prob failed the bar. My headings didn't really state the issues properly. Time Pressure got to me and I prob lost an easy .5 point on every issue I spotted.
