Should I go to Law School ? (Poetic dreamer)

Date: July 12th, 2005 7:09 PM Author: Haunting Trip School Cafeteria I want to be a physics professor, but since my family is so poor, they're encouraging me to do something that would give me money quicker.
The only thing that's preventing me from going to Law school is the old stereotype that lawyers are evil and judging from what I've seen on this messageboard, there's a lot of truth to it.
So, is there a place in Law school for someone who is Christian and who wants to keep his morals, and values and not have to "bend the truth" ?

In order to be a physics prof you basically hae to go to a top top physics PhD program. Getting in to one of those requires nearly perfect grades, lots of research experience, amazing LORs and perfect quant GRE scores. |

Cornell is a good school for physics so I'm not too worried about that.

By sophomore year you should be deep into upper division classes. By senior year you should ideally be done with all the available physics classes and spending your time doing research and trying to get your name on a publication. You have to do a substantial amount of research to get into a top flight PhD program. Because he hasn't done shit he will be fighting against the 1294238594872651623590246234510948569018237 other Cornell physics people for the few quality UG research assistant positions. |

Its like when my professor told me I'd probably be a sho-in for a top 5 econ PhD program. No chance in hell.
You'd probably get a better idea by talking to the Cornell PhD physics admissions people. |
