They are super cheap, like 4-5k min a year, and you come out with the same law degree. Only catch is you have to pass a performance test after one 1L, and are limited in states you can practice in. But you can't beat the price, and they take people with 2 year associates, so with a BA you are a lock. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't be a lawyer. Now a rising senior in dental school, things have worked out. But during that pretty awful period in my life, accounting was a much safer/ open option than law - and i very nearly went that route of a cheap combination masters in accounting and taxation. I'd go CS which would probably take more like 3 years, but the course load would be lighter since the chain of pre-reqs, which is fine bc then you can work part time on programming jobs and get valuable experience. Then when you graduate with experience you can press the "I WIN" button. |
