At the major conference schools, major sports like bb and fb bring in a fuckton of cash, way more than enough to pay for the program (at lesser schools fb can be a money loser). A good coach is worth paying so long as he keeps winning and bring in the cash. |

At the same time, the school received $28 million in private donations to build a new football complex next to the stadium, and sales of the state's $25 "Gator Nation" license plates shot into the most popular spot, edging out the previous frontrunner, "Protect the Panther," and earning the school more than $2 million in scholarship money in a single year. |
