I don't work hard bc I think I'm entitled to more pay.
I don't work out / eat right bc I'm convinced I look good and that one meal won't hurt. I'm 25-30 lbs overweight.

As for (1), I had the same problem once. I had good school, good clerkship(s), baller first job. Left to go to a city I wanted to be in, and the whole time I was there I felt like I was above the entire idea of the shitty office and shitty work (it was local "biglaw" but in reality it was a 30 person office full of the local TTT grads). I masked it okay, and could have stayed there for my career, but ended up leaving because something else big came up. You have to suck it up and find goals apart from the problems. I wanted more trial experience, so I took on some pro bono trial work. I had the goal that I would be a great litigator, and I worked hard to get there, despite having a fealing the whole time that I was surrounded by mouth breathers.
