this is what I always tell people....
everyone should exercise + do SOME weight training, even if machines. it isn't hard, doesn't take long and the physical/psychological benefits are great for everyone.
and this isn't for everyone, but you need 1 of each category to be well-rounded:
artistic (this one isn't for some people and is more optional but I think art can elevate anyone's life): music (playing an instrument or in a band), painting/drawing, graphic design, cooking, animating, creative writing, comedy, magic (no neckbeard), hipster shit like brewing your own beer/distilling your own liquor, etc.
athletic: any kind of rec team sport, rock-climbing, boxing/mma, backpacking, extreme sports shit like motocross or dirt biking, etc. preferably one you do outside.
intellectual: reading nonfiction (in general), reading classics, history, chess/go/poker, math/science, politics, philosophy. poetry if you're ghey.
technical: these are important because they're also marketable....like fixing computers/IT, web design, programming (listed above), mechanical shit like fixing cars, doing construction/building, restoring things, welding/smithing/carpentry, .....drug production.
although most people will end up concentrating in one category...sports nuts, nerds, hipsters....think its best to try and cover all 4. and have at least 1 (usually the sports one) that is actively social.
