Did they ever explain how Chris Pine's ship ever found the magical island that no one was supposed to find?
I'm all, "Why are they attacking the island?" and my black gf said, "When they discover an island they want to conquer it, you know how Europeans do."
Then five minutes later she's all, "Why are they attacking the island?" I reminded her of her explanation and she goes, "That's *my* explanation, I want to know the movie's."
Then in the middle of the movie I complained that they never explained how they found the island and she told me they might have, but I kept talking through the movie. |
