the PMA in this case is whites-only, which has enraged redditors, eg:

redditors claim that the PMA is illegal and can be dissolved by arkansas's fair housing commission if its purpose is 'substantially' residential, since it would fall under the fair housing act. the PMA argues that this is not so, and that private groups are permitted to accept or reject their own members on their own terms.
furthermore, the land is held in terms of 'shares' in the PMA rather than something like rental or fee simple.
who will prevail if this goes to court?

I dunno why these guys decided to be open and bragging about doing this. I mean I know why, they wanted clout. It was just so dumb and selfish to do that if they wanted it to actually succeed
You could absolutely succeed at doing this by keeping it under the radar. I know people personally who are building communities like this |

also, how would this group find members without publicity and advertising? part of their problem is that few of them are FROM arkansas; arkansas is just the place where cheap land was available. |
