Hey all -

I am applying for MPP schools for Fall 2010. I was wondering what schools would be in reach for me and which ones are wishful thinking. Here are my stats:

School

-Graduated from a private school (in top 50 of private schools, top 90 of all) with a 3.66/4.00 GPA

-Undergraduate degrees in Economics and International Business (got it through business school, does this matter?)

-Also got Service Leadership Certificate (requires 300 hours of community service, 24 leadership workshops)

-Studied abroad in Rome, Italy and Panama City, Panama

Work

-Year of research at my university (international business research)

-Four years as a tutor, 1.5 years out of those as a tutoring coordinator

-Currently doing a year long stint with AmeriCorps

GRE

Q: 770

V: 580

I am expecting solid LOR's and a great SOP.

The schools I want to go to are:

-George Washintgon

-Georgetown

-American

-George Mason

-Arizona State

-William and Mary

Any advice?

I think you have a good chance at all those schools, but maybe not for funding.
