Subject: LSE Development Course Chances

So, I'm wondering what my chances are with LSE's Development/Dev. Management/International Political Economy courses?

I have a 3.48 UG degree in Economics from a t20 public. Also, I've been working with a major non-profit (think: TFA, PeaceCorps, etc) and worked 40 hours/wk doing UG research during my last 2 years of school. Should I take the GRE as further proof of capacity or apply with what I've got?

Thanks!

I'm at LSE right now, and doing part Development Studies (Political Economy of Late Development). I feel you have a good shot at getting into the department. I've met plenty of Americans in the program from schools ranked lower than a t20 public school, and some with very little economics background.

off the top of your head, what % of American students at LSE went to absolutely atrocious undergrad universities? When I say atrocious, I mean:

1) <2000 student, non-prestigious LAC

2) it's a low-tier satellite campus of a major university system

3) affiliated with a hardline religious movement (think Bob Jones University)

my guess is that it's in the 40-60% range.
