HKS suggests that the essays be at 750 words, is this a real limit? Will the essay be cutoff at that limit?

Right now I am at around 100-200 more words, will it be a real problem to be a little over the limit?

How much is too much??

Don't go over the limit. As the FAQ on Georgetown's website says: "Part of a graduate education is to learn how to follow directions and be concise."
