I've attended the Summer Session at LSE and stayed in one of their dorms. It was about a 20 minute walk from campus.

I think that they have 4 or 5 dorms, they are all singles-they have their own sink, but you share a bathroom.

You also get breakfast included (it isn't very good, but it is edible).

I think that they are pretty expensive (the summer rate was something like 30 pounds a day). You might be better off looking for private housing.
