Have a couple years overseas exp. volunteering w/ NGOs and doing ESL

One year experience as voluntary Research Asst. for a global MFI (microfi)

One year experience as a paralegal

Good enough to get into programs like LSE, SIPA, SAIS, etc?

I have two years experices as an International Trade Consultant with a Big 4 accounting firm. I only applied to UCSd because I didn't want to go into massive debt and my undergrad school/GPA suck.

I'm pretty sure I got in solely based on my WE and, to be honest, I might have gotten into SAIS if I tried..I'll never know though.

this seems decent, but i suspect that these programs get boatloads of apps from people with nearly identical WE. you would probably be well served by trying to get some sort of private sector job before applying.
