Another thing that fucks things up sometimes is www. vs. no www. links. Sometimes the inconsistency across the site bounces you from one to another and visited links aren't consistent then. Gotta just fix that. |

It's simply because of the links being used. If you're on forum_id=2, the thread uses that to generate the proper links for the back button.
If you're on the sub-bort forum, you'll have a different forum_id, which will take you back to the sub-bort.
Do you have any input? |

otherwise it's annoying to juggle back and forth between a subforum and the mainboart. if there's a semi active discussion on the jew board, you could then juggle back to the mainboart and waste time clicking that thread when there's no new poasts. |

is there a way to get the server to just show the url as
http://www.xoxohth.com/thread.php?thread_id=3760540
and somehow the server knows to put thread_id=3760540 on both the mainboart and the jewboart based on where that thread was created? |

I'm saying there would have to be a different way of telling the site where you came from, so when you click the Back button you end up in the right place.
It could be accomplished easily with a cookie, but again, I felt like relying on a cookie for basic navigation wasn't ideal. |
