privacy itself isn't a killer feature for most people. to the extent i'd use a privacy coin, it would be for transactional purposes only.
also, long term, i expect privacy features to be merged into the major cryptos.
edit: i like zcash, but the inflation schedule is currently pretty high, which suppresses any price appreciation
