There may have been no legitimate reason for it aside from a coordinated pump and dump. Their team isn't the greatest about communication though they have gotten a bit better adding a cute Lithuanian girl as their pr person.
If they do launch a successful platform in january, the price could skyrocket though your guess is as good as mine as to whether that actually happens. It's also generally got very low trade volume so it can be difficult to unload during a lull.
