Cryptomania has inserted itself into the minds of a lot of people, and even more will know about Bitcoin, Ethereum, et al. by the time the market crashes. What do you think milennials and baby boomers will do when their brokerage accounts go down 20-30% in a manner of weeks? They panic, because they are sheep. They sell low and figure crypto will at least get them SOME gains.
Good thing the barrier of entry for retail investors will be low by the time the market crashes (See Robinhood, etc.). |
