the arabs who left in 1948 left voluntarily because they didn't want to be part of a jewish state. plenty of arabs stayed, and they're now full israeli citizens and have more rights than they would have in any arab country. israel didn't force any arabs to leave. |

In his first The Birth of the Palestinian Refugee Problem, 1947-1949 (1988), Morris argues that the 700,000 Palestinians who fled their homes in 1947 left mostly due to Israeli military attacks; fear of impending attacks; and expulsions. He argues that there was no centralized expulsion policy as such, but expulsions were ordered by the Israeli high command as needed. This was a controversial position when Morris first wrote of it; the official position in Israel was that the Palestinians had left voluntarily, or under pressure from Palestinian or other Arab leaders. At the same time, Morris documents atrocities by the Israelis, including cases of rape and torture. The book shows a map of 228 empty Palestinian villages, and attempts to explain why the villagers left. In 41 villages, he writes, the inhabitants were expelled by the IDF; in another 90, residents fled because of attacks on other villages; and in six, they left under instructions from local Palestinian authorities. He was unable to find out why another 46 villages were abandoned.

First of all "fuck within a week" (assuming at least a few instances of interaction within that week) probably wouldn't even qualify for slut nowadays. But taking for granted that it is something slutty (or let's change it to fuck that night), the majority of fast girls either want the sex (and are giving up whatever reservations they have because they desire the sex) or they have no reservations in the first place, and there is not much of a reason to not sex the dude. In both cases they would fit pretty much anyone's definition of slut. |

I think the weaker side should seek to resolve a dispute, not exacerbate it. So long as the Palestinians continue to antagonize Israeli, I think they deserve the rather restrained Israeli response.
My view is further supported by the fact that Muslim society is despicable by either conservative or liberal standards, while Israel is a civilized nation. Moreover, the rhetoric of Arabs and the leaders of Iran is Nazi-esque. How can anyone here side with people who talk in venomous terms about annihilating Jews? |
