if your parents can swing 30K a year without it being an issue, its fine

if not, go to a cheaper school

if she goes to MIZZOU (or whatever the flagship in your state is) and pulls a 3.8, she's have just as good options as she'd have from WUSTL with a 3.8

nobody outside of st. louis has heard of wustl. even if they have and vaguely have the notion it's a 'good school' they think it's a shit school.

Nope. I knew people from my prep school who went. Also, Marilyn Vos Savant, the United States smartest woman, went there. Also, WUSTL Medical school is one of the top 5 or so.

Another thing, if whereas you went to another school that had "better" academics, WUSTL makes up for it with its amazing architecture. It's interiors are pretty sweet.

if you're running in the prep school crowd you have advantages that have nothing to do with having gone to WUSTL

you your parents have been springing for prep school tuition, WUSTL is a perfectly decent place to throw more of their money

I have a hard time believing that WUSTL for $30k a year is credited unless your parents are rich or you live in an extremely TTT state. I would go to Flagship State in most states (possibly all states) before I would pay $30k a year at WUSTL.
