First year at a small litigation shop and I'm always thinking that I'm on the verge of getting fired.
This feeling doubles everytime I make a mistake, or churn out an unimpressive brief. It's beta as fuck.

i feel you. at least in biglaw you know you're all but guaranteed to last one year. in small firms the hiring/firing is so casual and you feel like you can be canned any minute.
