You'll probably get big law, the ones striking out are mostly people who have zero self preservation impulses. They bid stupid, don't hustle, etc etc.
The problem is compensation. Associates make less than they did in 2007 by a lot. That's not even factoring in inflation. AND cost of schooling is growing still.
At CLS you will have well over 250K in debt by the time you graduate. If you pay that shit off over 10 years, you are talking like 36K per year in loan payments. That's after tax money. You won't have a positive net worth for 5-10 years. That sucks bro.
Take NW if you want to do it. You have virtually the same chances of getting big law (but a lot less chances at elite firms). |

serriously this guy really would pay STICKER just to go to a school one place about NYU, or a few places above NW... even those schools are giving him a lot of scholly.. that is just fuking stupid
there are lots of factors that go into whether u get into BIGLAW but u cant know them until u start.. u arent choosing bet COL and BC or something.. u are chosing between similarly ranked schools. just go tot he best t14 u get a scholly offer from |
