Yeah if it works out it is awesome. Also Id just be doing basic legal research, drafting motions and pleadings. Nothing really hard, and I wouldn't have to do any BS litigation shit like doc review, dealing with opposing counsel, figuring out BS court deadlines, writing huge MSJ's and filing all the fucked up supporting docs.

This actually sounds like a dream job sorta, I dont mind substantive legal research actually.

Yeah that is what I'm thinking. The downside is that maybe some weeks I only get 5 hours, or maybe they stop using me.

yeah bro, story makes sense that they would have to bring someone in short term. but if they're paying you 60, the staffing firm is billing you out at 100. you might want to contact whoever you interviewed with at the firm directly, see if you can work something out and eliminate the staffing company as a middle man

and regardless the partner i talked to is friend's with one of the top guys at the staffing agency so i think it wont work anyway
