my firm is small (7 lawyers), I'll be working for one partner in an area of law I know nothing about. Did not actually intend on doing commercial/corporate law (set on employment/labor), only took corps and did not do well in it. Want to impress these guys, and stay there, also because they sent me an email today saying if i'm half as good as my resume, they will offer a 'significant bonus' (I do feel a bit like I'm being underpaid so this pretty much made my day.)

I'm going to try to review some stuff before starting, but in general, does anyone have any tips working in a smaller law firm? This prob sounds like a TTT TLS question but i really want to make a good impression and don't want to fuck up. And I feel with a smaller firm/boutique/shitlaw firm, where ur given lots of responsibility, things are fairly transparent. I have my own office at least, so that may help if i'm fucking around at all.
