bring a notepad to every assignment meeting, ask questions to the point of being aspie, follow up as needed
i guarantee this does not annoy the partner more than getting a worthless memo days later.

the partner is usually busy as fuck and i'm afraid of bothering him with questions that can either annoy him or make him think that i'm a dumb.
