I lived in Moscow fairly recently and a huge portion of people I met were either Jewish or part Jewish (including myself, btw). Obviously, you don't want to be the funny hat wearing variety but in large cities a large number of people are part Jewish. Another large part of cities are immigrants from the Caucuses, which get it far worse than Jews (arguably for somewhat good reason).
