Makes sense, but still interesting to see Facebook falling into the same trap of every other trend of recent memory: when your mom starts using something, it stops being cool.

In fact, 8 of 10 teens who are online use social networking sites — and more than 93% of those users have a Facebook account, according to the Pew Internet & American Life Project. Millions more kids under the legal Facebook age of 13 fib about their age to use the service.

the seeds are there man, and that isn't an indication of their activity on facebook. Little reason to ever actually deactivate your account.

makes sense. you have to be too respectable on facebook now. everyone's mom and shit is looking at wall posts, photos, etc. teens need a new place to be themselves that their parents don't understand
