Between LRAP and IBR, they make no loan payments and all will be forgiven. Household income 105k (55 him, 50 her) in a southern college down. Both went to T14s. Both are 1 year out of law school.

That's a solid middle class life (and nothing above that).
I grew up on ~140k combined income and it definitely wasn't anything special.
However, their income will rise. So it's probably ok.

105k puts them around 85th percentile for household incomes. Not bad for 26 (M) and 25 (F) in stable jobs.

Compare them to the appropriate sample (people who go to T14 law schools or are smart enough to).
That seems pretty low to me, if you can get that from basic employable degrees (like accounting or w/e) from big state U.

Absolutely. Law school is worthless if you don't expect to get biglaw. You're better off going back to UG and doing a STEM degree at big state U than taking out 150k+ if you have some unemployable major.

Major advantages I see are no loan payments, low COL, and football. But, they went to SEC schools for undergrad so they like football a bit more than I do.
