The SOL for breach of fiduciary duty claims is more complex. 6 years on any equitable claims arising out of the breach, but 3 years for money damage claims arising out of the breach.

The more egregious bit is med mal has a 2.5 year SOL but legal mal is 3 years. The profession fucks its own kind, but lets doctors off the hook. Also, legal mal cases have funny tolling rules. Its possible for a case to sit undisposed on ecourts for say 15 years and the tolling clock may or may not have even started.
