Incoming 1L at NYU/CLS. Know absolutely no one in NYC. Pretty outgoing guy. Goal is build up a pretty sizable social group by graduation. How doable is this? I'm hoping to just grind out 1L. Lock in a firm job and then try to just keep making friends and meeting friends of friends through 2/3L. Anyone have any tips or advice?

tougher than you think. It takes work. it does make sense to grind it out, get dat biglaw, then use those connections as well as your classmates'.

If you get 1L SA in NYC there will at least be 1 chill bro from NYC/Columbia

TRY AS HARD AS YOU CAN TO GET A BANKING 1L SA in NYC. This could save you years of toiling in biglaw
