There's a misconception that "lasting that long" means avoid getting shitcanned. Firms don't need to fire you - you'll likely have a change of heart before they need to. |

And you do realize your 240k tuition will be 270k-280k with interest by the time you get out. If you do NY biglaw and want to save any modicum of money, that means youre living in a small one room eating ramen just to pay off your loans. And by the time you quit biglaw you will still have over 150k in loans.
I can't believe people are STILL thinking about taking full loans to go to law school. I mean, seriously? How many times do we need to warn you? |

same time over here, you have net outflow (more investors pulling out cash than putting in), so debt capital supply becomes limited.
result: debt-driven m&a goes down. investment grade should be fine, but there just isn't much room for anything junky atm, which knocks out most of the acquisition market. |
