Chances are he knows of at least FIVE recent grads in his jurisdiction that are desperate for a job. Or he could ask a lawyer w/in the local bar, "Hey, are you aware of anybody looking for a job?"

Why?

Because he's an asshole to work for and people around him already know that. Or, he's gonna lowball the shit out of an associate and he doesn't want the shame to spread of how he's dicking over his new hires.
