i had the same scholarship (cheap mother fuckers only giving you 12,500 the last year, haha). also had around $35k help from parents and a small outside scholarship. ended up taking around $85 in loans.

kinda regret it. i loved NYU, but i'm currently in biglaw paying this shit off and it's fucking miserable. the plan all along was to do biglaw for a couple years and then switch to public interest...but man, i underestimated how much it sucks to waste (and i mean WASTE) a couple years of your life in biglaw

it blows my mind you could owe that much after that big of a scholarship. to me that scholarship *seems* like 2 years paid but i guess tuition is closer to 50k now? and nyu col is really high?
